Come meet Matthew Jordan Smith, a local, South Bay, photographer who has captured some of the most famous people in the world, including the President of Iceland, Oprah Winfrey, and Carlos Slim. Best known for  his portraits of celebrities, actors, and models, his client list includes: celebrities such as Angela Bassett, Tyra Banks, Jeff Goldblum, as well as corporations such as Olay, Pantene, and HBO.

Matthew has taught at the prestigious School of Visual Arts and the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico. He hosts the photography podcast, Master Your Lens, available on iTunes. Throughout his photographic career, he has received numerous honors and awards, including the Vision Award and the Power of Image Award.

Matthew is currently working on a project in Asia. His presentation will include his portraits ‘of the moment‘ within the confluence of time.
