Using examples from his archive, Cory will walk students through frames that work, and images that fall flat…often sister frames…and explain why certain pictures, framing, light, composition, etc. create the impact we want, while others just don’t move the dial.

Using these images and the stories behind them as a vehicle to dissect technical elements of photography, from the basics forward, Richards will help move students work from image to impact.
